Helping you know where change is happening

Koala Kare Products is a leader in compliance to industry standards and the local, state, and federal legislation that pertains to commercial childcare products. This includes adult and baby changing stations, booster seats, and high chairs. It is also important to provide information about these types of codes and legislation to help you make informed decisions about how they can apply to your business.

Baby Changing Station Legislation

Several local, state, and federal government bodies have passed or are considering legislation mandating the inclusion of baby changing stations in publicly accessible buildings. This interactive map will help you understand the Federal, State and Municipal level legislation by region.

Adult Changing Station Legislation

Adult Changing Stations provide families and caregivers with a safe, sanitary solution for adults and adolescents who require changing. As awareness of this need has grown, there have been efforts to pass legislation requiring their inclusion in public facilities. There have also been recommendations for changes to building codes to support their inclusion. This interactive Map showcases passed and pending legislation by region.

Child Seating Compliance & Standards

A new federal standard (ASTM F404-18) to improve the safety of all high chairs — both in restaurants and at home — was approved by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. All of our high chairs are compliant with the ASTM F404-21 (the updated standard) and other standards like ASTM and EN where relevant.

Booster Seat Compliance & Standards

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) passed a new federal standard (ASTM F2640-18) to improve the safety of all booster seats. The standard seeks to minimize the risks associated with the use of booster seats, including those related to infant falls, entrapment or structural and design problems. Our Restaurant Booster and BoosterChair comply with the ASTM F2640-18 standard.
