Dads for Change
Equal Access to Baby Changing Stations
Koala Kare Products Dads for Change movement raises awareness of the need for baby changing station availability in the both the men’s and women’s public restrooms. Support for this and similar movements is leading to changes in legislation at the federal state and municipal level across the U.S.
A True Dad for Change
The Dads have taken to social media to voice their complaints about the lack of baby changing stations in men’s restrooms.
Rhode Island Congressman, David Cicilline led the charge in Congress with a bill mandating baby changing stations be made available in all public restrooms, which cleared the U.S. House of Representatives, 389-34. The Senate unanimously approved Cicilline’s bill and the BABIES Act was born. The BABIES Act requires baby-changing accommodations in both men’s and women’s restrooms in all publicly-accessible federal buildings.
